Education, MSEd – Allied Health Teaching and Leadership
Keiser University’s Master of Science in Education – Allied Health Teaching and Leadership provides instructors, administrators, program directors, community personnel, and anyone interested in effecting a change within the allied health field, an intensive study of theory and practice in the field of health education. The program fosters independent learning and prepares students to contribute through leadership and scholarship to the education profession within various allied health fields and disciplines.
Education, MSEd – Allied Health Teaching and Leadership
Students complete a foundation of courses in such areas as diversity; curriculum design, evaluation and assessment; and instructional technology before focusing on issues and trends in health education; development, implementation, and evaluation of community health education programs; legal/ethical decision-making for health educators; and health behavior theories related to health education. Graduates are able to demonstrate knowledge and application of theory and to critically analyze and competently solve problems in the area of education related to the allied health field based on applied research methods.
