Program Overview

The Associate of Science in Turfgrass Management program is ideal for aspiring golf industry professionals who have the desire to improve facilities, grounds, and equipment on golf courses and in country clubs. Students receive a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on experiential learning that provides students with the practical application of coursework. The Turfgrass program will prepare prospective students for leadership positions in golf course maintenance and build a foundation for future growth within the industry.

The Associate of Science in Turfgrass Management program is designed to:

  • Present students with a comprehensive background in the golf industry’s traditions, culture, and expectations.
  • Develop the student’s foundation of knowledge and skills essential to the maintenance of turfgrass at a golf facility and associated turf operations.
  • Provide students with the framework to further develop their abilities in the maintenance and upkeep of all areas of a golf course or sport field.
  • Expose students to technology and equipment used in the maintenance of golf and turfgrass facilities.

About This Program

Keiser University’s Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program prepares students with the knowledge and skills to pursue entry-level positions in a wide variety of professions. The principles of psychology are used in nearly every field, from human resources and rehabilitative therapies to educational testing and business practices. The program is a strong foundation for graduate study in psychology and other social and behavioral sciences disciplines.
