Keiser University’s Associate of Arts in Accounting program introduces the fundamentals of financial accounting, federal taxation, bookkeeping, and business operations.

Throughout this associate program, you can learn:

  • Foundational Accounting Principles: Learn how to apply industry-standard practices used to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Hands-On Skills: Practice applying basic bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation techniques to support organizational compliance.
  • Essential Technology: Use accounting software and business technologies common in entry-level financial environments.
  • Laws & Regulations: Learn how to follow standard accounting practices and regulatory requirements that guide ethical financial recordkeeping.

The Bachelor of Arts in Accounting takes your skills further with advanced studies in auditing, managerial accounting, accounting information systems, taxation, and business strategy. Graduates of the bachelor’s program are provided with the coursework needed to prepare them to sit for the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam in the state of Florida.*

*CPA exam eligibility requirements are determined by each state’s board of accountancy. It is the students’ responsibility to verify their state’s CPA requirements.

Throughout this bachelor’s in accounting program, you can learn:
