Turn your passion for helping others into a career that helps people move, heal, and regain their independence. Through classroom, laboratory, and clinical training, you will learn to:
- Build Confidence in Clinical Settings: Develop real professional skills through supervised clinical experiences.
- Apply Rehabilitation Techniques: Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function through effective interventions.
- Monitor Recovery Progress: Collect and document patient data to help evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.
- Communicate and Motivate: Educate and help patients develop positive mindsets as they work toward recovery goals.
Upon graduation, you will be eligible to take the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) needed for licensure.
The accreditation status of the Physical Therapist Assistant program is published on the Accreditation page of the University website. This information is also published in the University Catalog.

CAPTE considers complaints about programs that are accredited by CAPTE, and complaints about CAPTE itself. Please see capteonline.org/faculty-and-program-resources/complaints
