Program Overview

What is the cloud? Is it millions of inter-connected servers? Is it the internet? Is it the data, information, processes, and programs that help maintain our high-tech society? The truth is, it’s all that and more. It’s ubiquitous, powerful, and vital to our daily lives. With all the things already in the cloud, from financial transactions to medical files, why not pursue your career future there, too?

At Keiser University, our Bachelor of Science in Cloud Engineering (BSCE) offers the technical skills and abilities you need to succeed in cloud technologies, services, and applications. Your program covers cloud principles, analytical processes, and the development and design of relevant technologies. You’ll gain proficiencies in implementing, managing, and maintaining vendor-neutral cloud systems. And you’ll explore cloud models and services, network and platform infrastructure, deployment, architectural design and solutions, metrics, policy, security, and compliance.

Upon successful completion of this bachelor’s degree program, you will have earned a Bachelor of Science in Cloud Engineering as well as gained skills to:

  • Investigate real-world cloud computing problems and offer effective solutions
  • Develop, design, deploy, and optimize vendor-neutral cloud systems and technologies
  • Analyze the impact of cloud computing on people, organizations, and communities
  • Create and implement policy, security, compliance, and best practices in a network and cloud-based environment
  • Design, test, and evaluate network infrastructure
  • And more!
