Your Interdisciplinary Studies – Pre-Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program

Keiser University’s Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, Pre-Doctorate of Physical Therapy program is designed for students who plan to pursue graduate-level work in physical therapy. The degree offers general education courses, interdisciplinary concentrations, electives, and a capstone course focused on pre-requisites often required for entering a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. Upon completion of the program, students will have educational and hands-on experiences to expand employment opportunities and may apply to a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.*

As health care professionals with advanced training in anatomy and biomechanics, physical therapists develop custom care solutions to help each patient reduce painful symptoms and regain movement, mobility, and function, all while improving the patient’s overall quality of life. In addition, Physical Therapists are trained to provide proactive and preventive care aimed at helping patients avoid disability and disease through fitness programs, therapeutic exercises and other techniques designed to prevent discomfort and support healthy function and movement.

*Keiser University makes no guarantee of acceptance in or admission to a DPT program.
