Do you want a career where you can directly impact people’s lives? If helping others brings you joy and you are comfortable working with people of all ages, then Keiser University’s Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program is your perfect match. This hands-on program is your launchpad to a fulfilling career in physical therapy.
Imagine the satisfaction of helping people overcome challenges – from recovering from sports injuries to regaining mobility after a stroke. The Physical Therapist Assistant program equips you with the skills to assist licensed physical therapists in treating a wide range of conditions. You’ll learn how to translate a physical therapist’s treatment plans into action, meticulously collecting data to ensure the best possible care. Communication is key, so we’ll hone your ability to connect clearly with both patients and health care teams. Plus, you’ll gain the knowledge to guide patients through their recovery journeys.
Upon graduation, you will be eligible to take the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) needed for licensure.
Learning that Fits Your Life
Keiser offers small classes for more personalized learning, one course at a time. In addition to in-person instruction at convenient campus locations near you, most general education classes may be taken online to fit your degree more flexibly into your life.
