Program Overview

The internet keeps the world connected, and to maintain those connections, businesses and organizations of all sizes need skilled employees to install new technology, optimize networks, and troubleshoot computing issues as they arise. Keiser University’s Associate of Science in Cloud and Computing Technology provides graduates with the professional competencies, knowledge, and technical agility they need to secure entry-level positions in this evolving field.

Students learn to install, deploy, and troubleshoot software and hardware using critical thinking skills coupled with industry best practices. Upon graduation, students will be adept at providing comprehensive support in a variety of settings, including physical, wireless, and cloud configurations for single, mixed, and multi-user environments. A strong skill set in security, technical support, and service desk techniques and procedures can help position graduates for exciting professional opportunities in obtaining entry-level cloud, security, networking, and related positions.

Program Objectives

Keiser University’s Associate of Science in Cloud and Computing Technology program will:

  • Provide students with a comprehensive background in Technology Support techniques and Service Desk procedures and techniques, including wireless concepts and configurations.
  • Show students how to properly conduct research for troubleshooting hardware and software solutions to provide higher levels of business continuity.
  • Develop the student’s ability to communicate effectively and think critically.
  • Develop students’ abilities to administer, manage, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and services for single, mixed and multi-user environments.
  • Develop students’ skills with network maintenance, support, security, and troubleshooting applications.
  • Assist students in becoming more adept in knowledge, theory, and practice of network and security support and management.
