Your Educational Leadership, PhD Program

Take your career in education to the next level. Keiser University’s Doctor of Philosophy degree program in Educational Leadership hones skills in leadership, writing, research, and critical thinking, preparing graduates to apply these skills in K-12 through higher education settings.

The Ph.D. program is designed to build on the maturity, experience, and education that participants bring with them. Students must have a master’s degree to apply for the program, and many also have significant work experience as educators.

With Keiser University’s Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference in the schools and ultimately in the communities those schools serve. The program produces leaders who can assess problems and forge solutions that will guide education into the future.

Courses in subjects such as curriculum design, leadership theory, educational law, and community relations provide a solid foundation that prepares graduates to excel in a wide array of careers in education, including research, academia, consulting, and school district administration. The program focuses on ethical decision making, best practices, working with various communities, advancing the education field’s body of knowledge, and developing professional oral, written, and digital communication skills.

What Our Graduates Are Saying

Brenda B.

A long time ago, I was told if a person is placed in the right environment they will succeed. That’s my experience. I was the first female officer to be promoted to officer in my agency. I was advised my education was a factor that allowed me to surpass other candidates.
