Your Industrial and Organizational Psychology Program

Keiser University’s Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Organizational Psychology is a research-based Ph.D. program that prepares its graduates for active leadership roles with a direct influence on the goals and missions of businesses and organizations. Through research, residencies and a rigorous dissertation process, Ph.D. students will emerge from the program ready to tackle the challenges facing today’s workplaces as they navigate a shifting landscape of ethics and global competition. Students will focus on the needs and behaviors of management and employees to facilitate real, meaningful change at every level in private and public industries as well as research and academia.

As a graduate of Keiser University’s Industrial and Organizational Psychology Ph.D. program, you’ll be able to:

  • Apply principles and theories of advanced psychology to organizational issues such as motivation, behavior, learning, and emotion.
  • Contribute to the body of knowledge in industrial and organizational psychology by developing innovative and responsive research strategies and conducting relevant research.
  • Apply an advanced understanding of industrial organizational psychology to practical problems facing both management and employees.
  • Serve as a thought leader and key stakeholder in the development of novel techniques and approaches to critical organizational issues.

Students are required to attend two on-campus residencies.
